This year, Durga Puja made its spectacular premiere for the first time ever at the iconic location of Times Square in New York.

It is a traditional Bengali ritual in which married women bring together sindoor (sindhuk), a ritual that symbolises the victory of good over evil. Dance drama and Bollywood music add a modern and fun twist to the traditional celebrations as the event ends. The crowd witnessed an energetic performance and left the venue with memories of an unforgettable cultural experience.
