Aryan Khan, Seven Others Sent To 14-Day Judicial Custody
A Mumbai court on Thursday sent Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and seven others in 14-day judicial custody in connection with the case of seizure of banned drugs during a party.
The bail applications for Aryan and seven others will be heard on Friday, the court said. In addition to this, the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) request for extension of their NCB custody was denied by the court. Notably, Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha, and Arbaaz Merchant were arrested by the NCB on October 3 following a raid.
Earlier, on Monday, the Mumbai court had announced that Aryan Khan will be sent to NCB custody till today (October 7).
At the time, Aryan Khan’s lawyer had argued that nothing was seized from the star kid during the NCB drug bust. The lawyer reportedly stated that while Khan’s WhatsApp chat had been downloaded and the agency had said that some transactions link him with an international racket, Aryan had only studied abroad and had no involvement in any possession or supply during that entire period.
He had said, “Nothing in my chats will indicate international drug traffic.”
