Aaliya Siddiqui Will Wait For Daughter Shora To Get ‘Mature’ To Tell Her About Boyfriend, Denies Plans To Get Married
Aaliya Siddiqui, estranged wife of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has opened up about her daughter Shora Siddiqui’s reaction to her new relationship.
Weeks after Aaliya and Nawazuddin reached a mutual agreement after a long public feud, Aaliya shared a post about the new man in her life. She has now said that she will wait for an year or two to tell daughter Shora about it.
Aaliya has two kids with Nawazuddin Siddiqui – daughter Shora and son Yaani. The couple is not divorced yet. Aaliya recently participated in Bigg Boss OTT and was evicted few days ago.
Aaliya on telling Shora about her boyfriend
Talking about how Shora reacted to her boyfriend, Aaliya told Bollywood Bubble in an interview in Hindi, “My daughter had asked about him, I told her there is nothing like that. She even told me that she will respect me if I tell her the truth. I will tell my daughter for sure but this is not the right time. There is always a right time for such things but this is not the time.”
Aaliya denies plans of getting married
She further said, “Woh thodi mature hojaye ek-do saal. Mera shaadi ko leke toh kuch hai nahi bas friendship hai. Ek saath chahiye, dosti chahiye, kisike saath waqt guzarna hai. Uske alawa aur kya hai? Koi aisa toh hai nahi ki live-in mein reh rahe ho ya shaadi kar rahe ho. Ek relationship tha, ek feeling thi aur maine share kardia. Usse jyada badkar kuch bhi nahi hai (Let her become a bit mature in one-two years. Its just a friendship, I am not thinking of marriage. I want a companionship, friendship, someone to spend time with. What else is there? Its not like I am planning to live-in with him or marrying him. Its a relationship, a feeling which I shared. Its nothing more than that).”
In the same interview, she revealed that they had met at a party where he liked her eyes and she liked his face.
Aaliya won’t reveal his identity
Aaliya had earlier told Hindustan Times that she has moved on. “I met him in Dubai. We have shared this special bond for quite some time now, but it is only now that I decided to share with everyone.” She had said that she is not ready just yet to reveal the identity of this new person in her life. “I want him to be a mystery man only, nahi toh he will also be dragged into the public eye. He is very simple and I want him to be away from all this,” she said.
