Blackpink Member Jisoo’s Music Video “Flower” Achieves 200 Million YouTube Views In Just Over 39 Days
South Korean singer Jisoo’s solo debut music video “Flower” has struck a chord with fans across the globe. On Wednesday, the music video of the song crossed 200 million views on YouTube, which is a testimony to its immense popularity.
Music video of “Flower” was released on March 31, 2023. It means that the song achieved the remarkable milestone on YouTube in just over 39 days.
Jisoo is a member of the K-Pop girl band Blackpink. The four members of the group are namely Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. They rose to stardom with their 2016 single “Boombayah.” The group was formed by YG Entertainment and there is an intersting logic behind the name “Blackpink”.
“The meaning of BLACKPINK aims to contradict the common perception of the color pink. Pink is commonly used to portray prettiness, but BLACKPINK actually means to say that ‘Pretty isn’t everything.’ It also symbolizes that they are a team that encompasses not only beauty but also great talent,” read a statement from YG Entertainment.

With the achievement, Jisoo had become the third member of her band Blackpink to get the honour. The Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts were launched in September 2020. These charts determine the ranking of songs by analyzing their streaming and sales activity across over 200 countries worldwide. The data used for these charts is gathered and organized by Luminate. The Global 200 chart includes data from all around the world, while the Global Excl. U.S. chart focuses on data from territories outside of the United States.
