“Custodian Of Luxury Art” – An Art Event By Award-Winning Curator Vikram Sethi
This art event organised by award-winning art curator Vikram Sethi comprised 3 artists and one art collector. Their participation is at Hotel Sheraton, Saket, New Delhi from 20th January to 27th January 2024.
The artists participating are :
1) Ms. Devika Pal, Noida
2) Ms. Moon Moon Bagchandka, Delhi
3) Ms. Manisha Kapoor, Delhi
4) Works of an Art collector…comprising One work of Manjit Bawa and one work of Tyeb Mehta ( both prints of the originals ).
This show was supported by DIAMETER, the company involved in sustainable growth and environment. Also involved in sustainable art.
The inaugural reception on 20th January was attended by all of the artists. The Other guests who attended were: Mrs. Aruna Sethi, Dr.Angana Guha Roy, Artist Moon Moon Bagchandka and her husband, Artist Manisha Kapoor and her husband, Artist Devika Pal and her husband, Social media influencer Ritu Rakheja, Amrapali Ghosh, Lokayukta Gallery owner Sanjeev Verma and Jenya Verma, Nalini Desai, Nitin Pohane from Nagpur, Justice S.K Mishra retd. Judge of Delhi High Court, Lawyer Asutosh Lohia and his wife, Lavina Bhatia – Hotelier, Pallavi, Poonam Syal, Bandana Singh, Nishi Vandana Sehgal, Jennifer, Mrs.Sohinder Nabha and several others.
A small note on the artists :
Artist Moonmoon was born in Jammu and the countryside of that place had a great influence on her works. Beautiful people, animals, and the scenic beauty of Jammu have been brought out in her works.
Artist Devika Pal has portrayed county scenery and beautiful landscapes in her works. A very senior and experienced artist who has done lots of art shows before.
Artist Manisha Kapoor has studied French, worked in the travel Industry, and is a very talented artist. Her charcoal works displayed are outstanding.
Guest of Honour was famous fashion designer Ms. Sanjanaa Jon.
The inauguration was done over wines, snacks, and champagne on 20th January at Hotel Sheraton, Saket, Delhi. The hotel team, especially the YI JING restaurant /bar did a great job with the food and wines.
The show will be on display from 20th January till 27th January at the ITC Sheraton, Saket, Delhi.
