Fueling Adventure, Driving Tourism: PHDCCI in partnership with Apollo Tyres Unveil Uttarakhand Adventure Ride 2024

The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) today successfully organized the much-anticipated “Uttarakhand Adventure Ride 2024,” presented by Apollo Tyres Bad Road Buddies.

The event took place at the PHD House, New Delhi, and featured a ceremonial flag-off to commence the exhilarating adventure ride through the breathtaking terrains of Uttarakhand.

This unique event brought together a vibrant mix of passionate riders, industry leaders, and esteemed dignitaries, all united by their love for adventure and commitment to promoting road safety. The Uttarakhand Adventure Ride 2024 aims to highlight the scenic beauty of Uttarakhand, showcasing its potential as a premier destination for adventure tourism.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Hemant Jain, Senior Vice President, PHDCCI, stated that the primary goal of this adventure ride is to position Uttarakhand as a top destination for adventure sports and tourism. With its rugged terrains, mesmerizing trails, and natural beauty, Uttarakhand is a haven for those seeking excitement and serenity in equal measure.

He added, adventure sports and tourism are not just about thrilling experiences, they also bring significant economic and social benefits. This ride serves as a powerful reminder of the positive impact that adventure sports and tourism can have on our communities.

Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, PHDCCI Family Welfare Foundation, emphasized PHDCCI’s support of the government’s focus on sports. As the government prioritizes sports, we at PHDCCI fully support this initiative, she added.

Mr. Remus Dcruz, Head, Sports Marketing, Apollo Tyres Ltd, highlighted the importance of adventure rides like these and encouraged people to push their limits. Further emphasising on the significance of such community events, he urged attendees to support and promote social sports, as this will further drive the growth of adventure tourism in the country, and cultivates a spirit of camaraderie and exploration among motorcycle enthusiasts.

Ms. Gul Panag, Actor & Entrepreneur, expressed her gratitude to PHDCCI for organizing the event. She discussed that adventure can become a part of our life. It’s not about being reckless, but about taking calculated risks and facing challenges. Overall it’s about stepping out of your comfort zone.
She added, human beings transcend their limits only when they step out of their comfort zone. She concluded by congratulating the organizers for the event and wishing the riders good luck.
