You would need some hibiscus powder or even the hibiscus extract would work fine. Get a bowl, add one teaspoon of glycerine and to this mixture add a few drops of water to maintain a viscous consistency. To this mixture, add the hibiscus powder or the extract. The next step is to add a quarter teaspoon of shea butter and finally keep this mixture in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

Beetroot tint

We will be discussing two ways to make a beetroot tint. First of all grate one beetroot and extract its juice. In a pan, add 10 tablespoon of the juice and keep it on low flame and let the solution become thick. Turn off the flame when the quantity becomes half of the original quantity and add aloe vera gel. To this mixture, add a few drops of almond oil.

Store this mixture and let this mixture cool off. Another way would need a few more ingredients. Take a container, add glycerine and put filtered water in it to keep it on low flame. To this add beetroot powder and whisk the mixture well. The mixture needs to be whisked well until it is boiled. The consistency needs to turn thick enough and the colour needs to turn dark as the beetroot’s magenta colour. Store the mixture in a jar and let it freeze for 2-3 hours in the fridge. This cheek tint is going to last for about two to three weeks. But make sure to keep it in a cold environment.

Food colouring tint

To this mixture, add some petroleum jelly and three drops of Vitamin E oil. Add two drops of red food colouring to this mixture and mix it well. Store the home made tint for half an hour and then use it on your cheeks or lips.

Mix rose water and aloe vera together. To this mixture drop some castor oil to make maintain the viscous consistency of the mixture. To this mixture, add two drops of red food colouring and stir it. Before using, keep the mixture aside for 30 minutes.
