India: Space Travel By 2025 A Possibility? Find Out How
Yes, 2025 might just be the year your dream of space travel comes to fruition. As per the firm’s plan, tourists will be ferried 35 km radius above the earth on a spaceship attached to a unique high-altitude balloon system.
Mumbai-based Space Aura Aerospace Technology Pvt Ltd company is currently working on building a space capsule which can carry upto six people and a pilot into space. And all this by the year 2025.
The space capsule, measuring 10 feet x 8 feet, will be equipped with all life saving and information systems. From a distance of 35 km above the sea level, one will be able to see the Earth’s curvature (sorry, Flat-earthers!) and the vast nothingness of the space. We are sure it’s going to be an overwhelming experience to be this small in a space that big. Travellers will be able to enjoy this for about an hour.
Once it is time to come back to the Earth, the space balloon will be slowly deflated and eventually detached. A parachute will take its place for a safe landing.
Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh have been earmarked as future places from where these space flights will get launched.
Only time will tell the outcome of this very futuristic venture. But whatever it is, India is not very far away from confirming a space for herself in the field of space tourism. Also, the firm is planning to make the flight to space a lot less than what they have at SpaceX and Blue Origin. It’s somewhere around INR 50 lakh, we hear.
