Nifty Holds Above 17800, Sensex Jumps 100 Pts; Bank Nifty Above 42850, Bajaj Twins Gain 2%

Domestic indices opened flat on Thursday. The NSE Nifty 50 rose 2.4 points or 0.01% to 17,816.00 and BSE Sensex was up 1.51 points to 60,302.09.

In sectoral indices, Bank Nifty rose 8.1 points or 0.02% to 42,838. The top gainers on Nifty 50 were Bajaj Finance, Kotak Bank, SBI Life, UPL and Bajaj Finserv while the losers were HDFC Life, Grasim, Hindustan Unilever, ONGC and TCS.
