Salman Khan Finally Breaks Silence On Receiving Death Threats From Lawrence Bishnoi
Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan has been busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Sikandar. This Eid, he will return to theatres in style in a badass avatar with the A. R. Murugadoss action thriller, alongside National Crush Rashmika Mandanna.
Well, last night the superstar held a special press conference where he opened up about his future projects, age gap with co-stars and the multiple death threats that he has received from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, linked to the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case. Salman shared that he has left everything to God and stated that he knows how long he will live.
Finally breaking his science over the death threats and the open fire last year at his Bandra apartment, Salman Khan stated, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai. Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wohi problem ho jaati hai. (Bhagwan, Allah everything is upto him. I will live as long as I am destined to live. Just that, sometimes, I have to move with two people with me. That becomes a problem.)” Well, the superstar has millions of fans, his family and friends praying for his long life and well-being.
In 1998, during the shooting of Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Salman and his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam were accused of allegedly killing a Blackbuck in the forests near Jodhpur. Ever since then, he has been receiving death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and the Bishnoi gang, who consider the Blackbuck sacred. Last year in April, two men on a motorcycle opened fire at Salman’s Bandra apartment. They were later arrested and the Police revealed that this attack was planned by Lawrence’s younger brother Amnol Bishnoi. Later in October 2024, former Maharashtra Cabinet minister Baba Siddique was assassinated. The Bishnoi gang took responsibility for this murder, citing his close relationship with Salman.
