The Tenth Edition Of Artgenève Will Open To The Public Tomorrow
The tenth edition of artgenève will open to the public tomorrow. The opening of the “salon d’art”, which took place in the afternoon of Wednesday March 2nd saw a strong growth in sales, a tribute to the increasingly attractive quality of the stands.
This success is a sign that artgenève has established itself as a major international event in the calendar of professionals as well as collectors from Switzerland and abroad, who came in even greater numbers this year.
True to its concept of a “salon d’art”, artgenève offers visitors and the French-speaking part of Switzerland an important gathering of original institutional exhibitions and the most prestigious international galleries over a four-day period.
artgenève – F.P.Journe Award
The tenth edition of the Prix Solo artgenève – F.P.Journe was awarded by the watchmaking company of the same name to the best Solo Show presented at the fair: it was won by Rebekka Steiger from the Urs Meile Gallery. A special mention was given to Pace Gallery for its presentation of Lucas Samaras, on its booth.
